Principal’s Message

Dear Eagle Creek Elementary Families, Students, and Community,
It is with great excitement and heartfelt enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the proud principal of Eagle Creek Elementary! My name is Dr. Machael Dawkins, and I am truly honored to be a part of this incredible school community—one that is full of energy, promise, and Panther pride. From the moment I stepped onto campus, I felt the warmth, the commitment to excellence, and the spirit that makes this school such a special place. I bring with me a passion for learning, a deep respect for the work educators do every day, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child.
I approach this role with a positive, energetic outlook and high expectations for all of us—students, staff, and yes, even myself! Together, we will continue to create a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment where our Panthers can grow, thrive, and shine. Whether it’s mastering multiplication, building friendships, or showing kindness in the hallway, we’ll celebrate every step of progress along the way. Our school pride will be on full display, and every student will know they are valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
I want you to know that my door is always open. Whether you’re a parent with a question, a student with a great idea, or a teacher with a creative vision, I am here to listen, support, and collaborate. Relationships are the foundation of a strong school community, and I am committed to building meaningful, respectful, and responsive partnerships with all of our stakeholders. We are better together, and when we work as a team—students, families, educators, and community partners—there is nothing we cannot accomplish.
I am so excited for all that this year will bring! Let’s work together to make Eagle Creek Elementary a place where every Panther feels proud, connected, and inspired. I look forward to meeting each of you, cheering on our students, and building a school year full of growth, joy, and unforgettable memories. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
With Panther Pride,
Dr. Machael Dawkins
Principal
